Happy Mother’s Day! What I Really Want for Mother’s Day

I wanted to post a quick post to wish all of the mamas out there a very blessed and joyous Mother’s Day!

This weekend I am spending time with my husband and four children. Mj and I are having a mother-daughter date, if you will, on Saturday. She’s going with me to a media event and is going to be my blogger assistant.

We also have plans to eat at one of my favorite restaurants, and I’m hoping there will be cheesecake. All of the yummy cheesecake. Because that was one of my requests. Hey, a pregnant mama’s gotta indulge in one of her favorite desserts, guilt-free! 🙂

I told Travis (hubby) on Sunday I honestly just want to REST! I would like breakfast in bed, watch my favorite shows IN MY BED, take a nap, eat more food, watch more TV, nap, and REPEAT!! I want to stay in pajamas ALL DAY! I’m not even kidding, you guys. LOL! I stay so busy with my family, home life, creative projects, and more that I feel like I have very limited time to just have a quiet stretch of time to myself.

So this is my request for Mother’s Day: we can celebrate on Saturday and then Sunday this mama is going to put her feet up and chill! 🙂

I feel so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing, beautiful family. My journey of motherhood has been an incredible experience for me and I thank God for blessing me with my children and my fifth baby boy.

I am also blessed to have been pregnant with my sweet angel baby, even if it was for a short period of time. As painful as it was to lose my baby, the experience alone has greatly strengthened me as a mom. And if anything, my angel baby has taught me how to love my children fiercely and to never take life for granted.

Take some time today to be pampered and loved by your loved ones. You’re an amazing mom and truly blessed! God bless you, Mamas!

What are your Mother’s Day plans?

Happy Mother’s Day!

I hope you enjoyed your Mother’s Day. I wanted the same thing. Rest and not too much excitement. 🙂

I had a good Mother’s Day weekend. It was nice to just chill on Sunday. I hardly ever get to do that. Hope you had a good Mother’s Day, too!
